Quality Assurance Manager
General Description:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance (QA) Department in all aspects to ensure AMC's compliance to company, customer, city, county, state, and federal requirements, and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Act as Quality Management System Administrator (QMSA)
- Responsibilities assigned in the AMC Quality Management System Procedures and Work Instructions
- Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
- Establish and implement departmental and company-wide policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with department heads and personnel as required.
- Coordinate with other departments as they relate to day-to-day function of Atlantic Marine Cleaning
- Review and QA Authorization of each work item for new work
- Supervision of QA department employees
- Train department employees on required QMS Procedures and Work Instructions
- Ensure that review and QA Authorization of each work item for work is accomplished
- Ensure all Process Control Procedures (PCPs) are written, completed correctly, and paperwork is submitted in a timely fashion
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of TIP Sheets per job when applicable
- Ensure TIPs are closed in a timely fashion and OQE is properly submitted to customer
- Ensure the creation and accomplishment of all CMC Checkpoint forms
- Represent CMC in meetings with the customer
- Train department employees on required QMS Procedures and Work Instructions
- Monitor and control of calibrated assets (gauges, flow meters, inline air, meters, etc)
- Maintain list of Qualified Quality Control Inspectors and conduct training
- Maintain CMC internal and external Corrective Action Reports (CARs). Respond to CARs from the customer. Review every CAR before submittal to the customer.
- Document and Records control and disposal
- Ensure that PCP OQE is reviewed and complete before submitting to Prime Contractor QA Department
- Ensure the creation and accomplishment of all AMC Checkpoint forms
- Ensure AMC representation at all checkpoints
- Maintain list of Qualified Quality Control Inspectors and conduct training
- Represent AMC in meetings with the customer
- Monitor and control of calibrated assets (gauges, flow meters, inline air meters, ect)
- Maintain AMC internal and external corrective Action Reports (CARs). Respond to CARs from the customer. Review every CAR before submittal to the customer
- Document and Records control and disposal
- Review of COCs from subcontractors for QA compliance prior to payment
