What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Lathe Set Up/Operator - 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm position at Atlantic Industrial Models?
Experienced CNC Lathe Set Up/Operators needed for 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) at established machine shop in Essex, MA. 2nd shift hours can be slightly flexible, if needed. Standard hours are 3pm to 11pm.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year Experience w/ set up & operation of lathes
Dependable and have reliable transportation to work
Must be able to work with others
Must be able to read & understand prints
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Must be able to be follow instructions given by Day Shift Manager at start of 2nd Shift to follow for 2nd Shift duties.
Must be able to set up tools to precise tolerances.
Responsibilities:
Set up lathes with fixturing/tooling
Run production and prototype parts
Meet deadlines
Complete in-process inspections on parts
Maintain a clean & safe work environment
Deburr parts as needed/as made
Full Time: 40hrs/week ***Hourly Rate Based on Experience and may differ from hourly rate shown in job listing***
Monday-Friday: 2nd Shift (approx 3pm -11pm - flexible)
