Are you passionate about emergency medicine? Is your goal to be an Emergency Department Nurse?
The aim of this program is to support the novice RN to transition into the role of an ED nurse.
The Emergency Nurse Residency Program is available throughout the Atlantic Health System and the job description of positions may vary from site to site. Non BSN graduates will be required to complete their BSN within 5 years of employment. All participants are asked to agree to a 2-year employment commitment at AHS.
Qualifications
Essential Job Functions:
Recent graduate who has passed RN license and/or RN with < 1 year of experienceBSN preferred but not required Strong interest in becoming an Emergency Nurse
Residency is expected to begin in September 2026. Candidate must have license in hand prior to the start of the program.
The Atlantic Health System PEACE Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor. A total of $2,785, 263 or 83 percent of the Atlantic Health System PEACE program is financed with Federal funds and $557,053 or 17 percent is funded by other sources.
