JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for analyzing and maintaining patient health information to deliver it to the authorized users in a timely, accurate and complete manner. Facilitates the delivery of health care with provide-a-service-first attitude.
Principal Accountabilities
- Managing the front area by answering phone calls, welcoming customers, and providing records to clients. It is essential to be friendly and capable of multitasking.
- Processes and analyzes medical record information for compliance with standards, rules, and regulations related to patient information.
- Audits charts for accuracy, ensuring that all regulations are met with the document under review.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Great customer service skills.
- 6 months of experience in Health information Management or administrative area.
- High School Diploma or GED.
