About The Team
Atlantic Mobile Health is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing the finest air and ground medical transportation services. We offer immediate and emergent response to municipalities and facilities, as well as non-emergency transportation for patients who need stretcher transportation. The MICU is an emergency response unit that augments the basic life-support therapies provided by local first aid squads and fire departments. Our Air and Ground teams provide some of the most advanced care available for scene emergencies and interfacility transport for our most complex and critical patients. The Patient Transfer Center offers a time-saving service for doctors and staff at any hospital who wish to consult with a specialist or initiate a patient transfer into any Atlantic Health Medical Center. The Atlantic Training Center is one of New Jersey’s largest providers of emergency medical education, which also offers CPR and First Aid training to community groups, businesses, and the general public.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- You will conduct regular schedule courses to meet the educational needs of AMH clinicians, AHS team members, and other customers.
- You will ensure quality customer service is delivered and that internal and external customers’ needs are met.
- You will ensure completeness of all associated course/student paperwork, and compliance with NJ OEMS requirements for EMT training.
- You will adhere to all AMH/AHS policies and educational philosophies and to those of regulating organizations (i.e., AHA, NJ OEMS, NAEMT, etc.)
- You will demonstrate effective teaching skills and be responsive to students’ needs and concerns; adapt teaching style to meet the students’ learning needs.
- You will travel to off-site courses locations within the communities served by AHS as needed.
- You will be punctual and prepared for all assigned courses; conduct self in a pleasant and professional manner always and adhere to the dress code.
- You will maintain confidentiality regarding students’ progress and outcomes.
- You will report any student issues to Lead/Coordinator in a timely manner.
- You will complete all required paperwork legibly and return completed paperwork and payments to Coordinator in a timely manner.
- You will attend instructor meetings as scheduled and participate in instructor updates as required.
- You will promote a culture of collaboration and accountability to assure efficient operations and to provide education that improves patient outcomes throughout the community and region.
- You will work effectively and relate well with others, including supervisors, colleagues, and internal and external customers.
- You will exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and maintain constructive working relationships.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, current NJ EMT (or higher) certification required, current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an emergency, critical care, or field setting preferred.
- Prior educator/instructor experience required; instructor experience in EMT courses preferred.
- Unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
