- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Provide medication management, including initiation and ongoing monitoring of psychotropic and medication-assisted treatments (MAT), such as buprenorphine, naltrexone, and Vivitrol.
- Deliver care in compliance with evidence-based practices and within scope of licensure.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to support integrated behavioral health care.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and recovery goals.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) consistent with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and organizational standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision as required.
- Stay current with best practices in psychiatric and addiction medicine through continuing education.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Active, unrestricted Vermont license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), APRN, or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- High levels of patient engagement and treatment adherence.
- Accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all patient encounters.

Requirements
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or addiction medicine preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Active, unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), APRN, or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Vermont.
DEA registration with buprenorphine waiver (preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
Competencies:
Strong diagnostic and psychopharmacologic skills.
Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care models.
Familiarity with telehealth delivery and electronic medical record systems.
Excellent communication, empathy, and collaboration skills.
