What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Equity Fund Accountant - Top PE Firm (AUM & Growing) position at Atlantic Group?

You will have the opportunity to help a global financial services firm. With multiple locations, you will be working out of their NYC office (currently hybrid).
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of fund accounting OR audit (top 10 accounting firm) experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of the fund financials
- Be a key member helping out with the month, quarter, and year-end close process
- Help with capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations
- Be a resource for audit inquiries and assist the fund admin
- Analyze high risk accounts on the balance sheet and income statement to recommend any better methods
- Have an analytical mindset and help out with process improvement initiatives
- Respond to investor requests and special projects as they arise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business from top tier school
- 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in the accounting, finance, or commercial real estate fields
