Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Finance Director (Client Finance) in New York, NY for our client, supporting client finance operations, revenue management, and commercial strategy within a media and advertising environment. This role focuses on managing client financial relationships, overseeing P&L performance, and ensuring contract compliance while partnering with senior stakeholders. The position offers exposure to large, high-profile clients and the opportunity to influence commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities as the Finance Director (Client Finance):

• Client Management: Lead financial discussions with clients including contract management, pricing, and ongoing commercial support.
• Revenue Management: Oversee P&L performance including forecasting, actuals reconciliation, and cost management.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely client reporting in line with contractual requirements.
• Fee Management: Track project budgets and manage staffing costs to align with financial targets.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial obligations and support audit processes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to support financial planning and execution.
  
  

Qualifications for the Finance Director (Client Finance):

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Experience: 7 years of finance experience, with experience in media, advertising, or other client-facing, revenue-driven environments preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of media finance, client contracts, and revenue management is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, and Excel is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally are required.
