Client Service Associate – Investment Operations & Client Services
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $65k - $80k
A leading global investment advisory firm is seeking a Client Service Associate to join its Boston office. This individual will play a key role supporting client portfolio operations, investment execution, reporting, and ongoing relationship management for sophisticated institutional and private clients.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Partner with senior client service professionals and investment teams to support client relationships.
- Prepare and coordinate client correspondence, account documentation, and service requests.
- Maintain and update client records, including AML/KYC documentation and CRM systems.
- Coordinate with custodians, trustees, fund administrators, and other third parties to ensure timely resolution of client inquiries.
- Assist with audit, tax, and other client-related requests.
Investment Execution & Portfolio Operations
- Support the execution of client investment strategies across alternative investment portfolios.
- Prepare and review subscription, redemption, transfer, and wire documentation.
- Coordinate investment transactions, capital call funding, and cash management activities.
- Liaise with custodians and administrators to ensure timely trade settlement and accurate processing.
- Maintain accurate transaction records within internal systems.
- Review portfolio reports, performance statements, and invoices for accuracy.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, meeting materials, and portfolio updates.
Process Improvement & Operations Support
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and enhance client service processes.
- Develop expertise in portfolio management and operational systems.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, information security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues across global offices to support key operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2–4 years of professional experience; investment operations, financial services, wealth management, fund administration, or client service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and review large amounts of data accurately.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Professional demeanor with exceptional client service and interpersonal skills.
