Role: Accounting Manager

Firm: Commercial Property Manager/Maintenance

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP or other applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare and distribute the monthly close calendar, monitoring and ensuring that the deliverables and deadlines are met via a close checklist.
• Supervise the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, preparation and uploading of journal entries to Net Suite, and preparation of internal financial statements.
• Manage financial transactions, including assets, liabilities, equity, expenses, prepaids, and accruals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with Big Four experience, in both public/private industries.
• Expertise in GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), tax regulations, and financial systems.
• Proven experience in leading general ledger operations and managing a team within an accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• CPA preferred
