Position OverviewSeeking a full-time Medical Collector to join our Corporate Revenue Cycle team in Tarrytown, NY. This individual will be responsible for following up on patient accounts, ensuring timely insurance payments, resolving denials, and maintaining accurate financial records. Work Schedule: 5 days a week in the office Key Responsibilities-Follow up on outstanding patient accounts to ensure timely insurance reimbursement-Process appeals and monitor claim status-Research and resolve claim denials-Process patient and insurance refunds-Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional communication at all times Qualifications-Required: Prior medical collections experience-Knowledge of medical terminology-Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding-Familiarity with EOBs, refunds, and general billing workflows-Ability to multitask, take initiative, and handle sensitive situations professionally Preferred:-Payment posting experience-Experience with NextGen-CPC certification Benefits (Upon Conversion to Permanent):-Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance-Company-paid long-term disability-Flexible spending account-Company-paid life insurance voluntary life options-401(k) plan-Pet insurance ID: 46839
