Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Encapsulation Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all aspects of encapsulation projects within our construction operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. This role involves supervising field teams, ensuring project quality, maintaining safety standards, and managing project schedules to meet deadlines. The Encapsulation Supervisor will play a critical role in delivering successful projects through effective management of resources, adherence to blueprints and schematics, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise encapsulation crews on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor progress daily, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment required for encapsulation tasks.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project workflow.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work activities, changes, and project updates.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on encapsulation or related fields.
- Supervising experience on large-scale construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of blueprints reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management including contracts negotiation.
- Ability to operate or understand the use of tools like Ohmmeter for quality control purposes.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for construction site safety.
