Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their style and vision needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service while educating patients on lens options.
- Handle sales transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
- Assist patients with their vision plans, explain insurance benefits for eyewear, and accurately process insurance claims and billing for glasses.
- Work comfortably with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management (PM) systems.
- Keep the optical boutique organized, clean, and well-stocked.
- Perform basic eyewear adjustments and minor repairs (training provided if needed).
- Collaborate with Opticians and Doctors to ensure the best patient experience.
- Travel between our Monmouth County locations as needed.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills.
- Sales experience in optical or retail (preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate).
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Shows empathy, compassion, and sensitivity in interactions with patients.
- Possess strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
