Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking full time Shop Foreman for our Greenville Service Center.
Our Shop Foreman are responsible for:
- Assisting the Service Center Manager with planning, scheduling, performing, directing, and evaluating the maintenance and repair of fire and emergency apparatuses.
- Analyze malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds and maintains fire and emergency equipment.
- Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose discrepancies.
- Dismantle, repair, reassemble vehicles or equipment utilizing hand tools and hoists.
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using precision measuring equipment.
- Repair, rebuild, overhaul, replace defective assemblies and components such as collector gear boxes, transfer cases, differentials, and both water or hydraulic pumps.
- Test overhauled equipment to insure operating efficiency.
Weld broken parts and structural members.
Requirements:
Successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of related experience, along with being able to lift up to 30lbs without assistance. Pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory driving record required. Additionally, Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B with Tanker endorsement is required or must be obtained within twelve months of hire. ASE Mechanic and EVT certifications as well as state inspection license a plus.
