Reports to: Charge Nurse
ADMS is currently seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse to work full-time at our Brooklyn Dialysis location. RN must possess’ 1-year minimum dialysis experience. No training will be provided.
General Description:
The Dialysis Staff Nurse will work under the supervision of the clinical care coordinator and/or dialysis charge nurse.
RN will administer high-quality standards of Nursing Care to dialysis patients.
Will utilize Standards of Clinical Practice for Nephrology Nursing.
Will be primarily responsible for providing the patients with a safe and effective dialysis treatment.
Will utilize the Nursing process to coordinate the dialysis patient's care: Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation.
Will also communicate with clinical care coordinator/charge nurse regarding patient's condition and tolerance of dialysis treatments.
RN will assist with maintenance of dialysis machinery.
Position Qualifications:
- New York State RN License, Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program
- 1 year experience as a Dialysis RN preferably
- Req. Certification/Registration: BLS
