Showroom Sales & Project CoordinatorAbout Atlantic Custom Granite & Marble

Atlantic Custom Granite & Marble helps homeowners, contractors, designers, and builders make countertop projects easier, clearer, and more successful.

We specialize in granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, and other stone surfaces for kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor spaces, bars, fireplaces, and custom projects.

Our goal is not just to sell countertops. Our goal is to guide customers through an important decision with honesty, education, craftsmanship, and clear communication.

About the Role

We are looking for a Showroom Sales & Project Coordinator who enjoys talking with people, communicates clearly, and can follow a system.

Stone and countertop experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.

The most important things we are looking for are:

  • A good attitude
  • Clear communication
  • Enjoyment working with people
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow processes and keep good notes
  • Reliable follow-up

This is a consultative sales role. We do not use pushy sales tactics, but we do expect the right person to guide customers confidently, follow up consistently, and help qualified customers move toward a clear decision.

The right candidate will work closely with our showroom and customer experience team to support showroom visitors, scheduled appointments, contractors, designers, vendors, and internal project handoffs.

What You’ll DoCustomer & Showroom Support

  • Greet showroom visitors and scheduled appointments in a warm, professional manner.
  • Learn about each customer’s project, timeline, budget, style, and practical needs.
  • Help customers understand stone types, finishes, edge profiles, sink options, backsplash choices, and other project details.
  • Educate customers on the pros and cons of quartz, granite, quartzite, marble, soapstone, and other materials.
  • Help customers narrow down options without making them feel pressured or overwhelmed.
  • Support a positive showroom experience from first contact through estimate follow-up.

Estimating & Project Coordination Support

  • Gather and record project information, including drawings, dimensions, sink/faucet details, appliance information, backsplash needs, edge preferences, material selections, and timeline expectations.
  • Create and revise estimates using established company systems.
  • Track customer selections, estimate revisions, deposits, follow-up tasks, and open questions.
  • Assist with scheduling communication for measurement appointments and installations according to established company workflow.
  • Help make sure customer information is complete before the project moves to the next stage.

Material Research & Vendor Communication

  • Research slab and material availability using vendor websites, inventory portals, and vendor sales representatives.
  • Confirm pricing, lead times, stone availability, special-order requirements, remnant availability, and slab hold details.
  • Help customers understand the difference between in-stock materials, special-order materials, remnants, and supplier inventory.
  • Communicate material information clearly to both customers and internal team members.

Systems & Communication

  • Maintain clean notes in the company’s estimating, scheduling, and project software systems.
  • Prepare customer documents, estimate revisions, e-sign documents, and internal handoff notes.
  • Help keep project information organized so the office, templating, shop, and installation teams have what they need.
  • Follow established procedures and help identify ways to improve checklists, customer communication, and handoffs.

What We’re Looking For

You may be a good fit if you are:

  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with new people
  • A good listener who asks thoughtful questions
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Reliable with follow-up, notes, and documentation
  • Comfortable using email, websites, spreadsheets, and software systems
  • Calm when customers are unsure, overwhelmed, or still learning
  • Willing to learn about stone, fabrication, installation, kitchen remodeling, and design details
  • A team player who wants to help both customers and coworkers succeed. (Good vibes go a long way.)

Experience in showroom sales, customer service, interior design, kitchen and bath remodeling, construction support, estimating, or project coordination is helpful — but not required.

We can train stone knowledge. We cannot train attitude, honesty, follow-through, and care for people.

Schedule

We are open to full-time or part-time candidates.

Schedules may include weekday showroom hours, occasional Saturday showroom coverage, and some flexibility based on appointments and customer needs.

Pay

  • Pay will depend on experience, schedule, and demonstrated ability.

Why Join Atlantic?

Countertop projects can be exciting, expensive, and overwhelming for customers. The right person in this role will help make that process clearer, calmer, and more enjoyable.

At Atlantic, you will be part of a team that values craftsmanship, honesty, practical education, good communication, and taking care of customers from the first conversation through the finished project.
