Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Appraisal Support Specialist to support our Compliance department. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the Appraisal Desk, appraisers, and Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) to help ensure appraisal orders are processed efficiently and within required timelines. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism. This is a full-time opportunity.

In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the Appraisal Desk, appraisers, and Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) to help ensure appraisal orders are processed efficiently and within required timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate appraisal order assignments through internal loan origination and vendor platforms
- Respond to routine inquiries from appraisers and escalate concerns when necessary
- Follow up with appraisers and AMCs to confirm inspections and report completion timelines
- Obtain and track pricing estimates for specialized or complex appraisal requests
- Maintain communication with internal loan production and operations teams
- Review appraisal documentation for completeness and proper delivery
- Ensure appraisal reports are delivered to borrowers in accordance with ECOA valuation disclosure requirements
- Remain current on appraisal regulations, agency guidelines, and industry standards
- Prior experience working as an Appraisal Coordinator or within an Appraisal Desk function at a mortgage lender or AMC
- Understanding of mortgage lending terminology and workflow processes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Comfortable managing deadlines and adapting in a dynamic, high-volume work environment
