Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Insurance Agent, located in West Melbourne, FL. The Licensed Insurance Agent will be responsible for selling insurance policies, managing customer accounts, maintaining relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service, and addressing inquiries or concerns effectively. The role may also involve advising clients on financial products or services and ensuring compliance with company policies and insurance regulations. There is no option for remote work.
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a 220 or 440 insurance license from the Florida Department of Financial Services. We can assist a qualified candidate in obtaining this license. The 440 license involves a 40-hour online class, fingerprints, and a background check with the State of Florida. The entire process takes 1-2 weeks.
This is a full time position of 39 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm and Fridays 8:00am - 4:00pm. No weekends or evenings.
Qualifications
- Experience in Insurance Sales, Insurance, and Insurance Brokerage (preferred)
- Understanding of Finance principles and relevant insurance-related financial products
- Strong Customer Service skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Current and valid insurance license (preferred)
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with insurance-related software and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of local and state insurance regulations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is an advantage
- Ability to work proficiently in fast-paced environment
- Possess superior time management skills
