Position:
Marine / Petroleum Pump Operator
Responsibilities:
- Perform fuel, lubricant, and fuel additive transfers dockside in accordance with USCG policies and procedures as instructed by Atlantic Bulk Ltd. You will be properly trained to become a Person in Charge (PIC). We are well trained in job safety requirements as well as having an exemplary safety record.
- On call, reporting for duty, usually 24 hours’ notice. Start times can vary.
- Must report for duty at our shop located in Middletown, DE.
- Reporting to dispatch for delivery assignments and delivery updates.
- Maintain equipment to meet DOT inspection criteria
- Follow DOT laws regarding the loading and hauling of equipment
- Check equipment, fuel, fluid levels and proper operations before leaving the shop.
- Notify Manager of any equipment failures or damage
- Maintain vehicle and equipment to present a clean and professional appearance.
- Storage of equipment and vehicles in appropriate manner when not in use to prevent property damage.
- Complete all special assignments or projects from the Manager in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in safety meetings
- Don’t violate safety policies and rules
Qualifications:
- Must Be Clean Shaven to enter certain job sites
- Driver’s License Required (must have a clean driving record)
- Must have CDL (CDL C with Hazmat Endorsement)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- U.S Authorization Required
- Must hold a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC Card)
- Familiarity with Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania would be helpful as well as the ability to read and understand maps of the city and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening
- Product Knowledge would be a plus
- Excellent customer service skills

· A one-time bonus of $1,500 after completion of your training and becoming a PIC pump operator. A one-time bonus of $1,500 completion of training and becoming a chemical pump operator
