Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Promote store loyalty programs and upsell products or services
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient transaction processing
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculations
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Knowledge of technology sales or jewelry sales is a plus
