Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Receptionist and Accounting Coordinator in Virginia Beach, Virginia to join our team!
What you’ll be doing
- Providing front desk coverage during receptionist’s lunch breaks, scheduled PTO, and as needed.
- Answering incoming phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate employee or department.
- Greeting visitors, vendors, employees, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Helping maintain an organized and welcoming front office environment.
- Sorting and distribute incoming mail daily.
- Coordinating pick-up and delivery of express mail services including FedEx, UPS, and other carriers.
- Completing daily check deposits for the accounting department.
- Cutting and mailing checks as needed for the accounting department.
- Providing support for seasonal accounting tasks as they arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Previous administrative, receptionist, office support or customer service experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Calendar
- Experience working with all levels and varying positions of staff while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and handle the pressure of multi-tasking
- Ability to remain highly organized and detail-oriented
- Professional verbal and written communication with individuals in person, over email, and on the phone
- Superior internal and external customer service skills, including recognizing the importance of listening to understand before responding, when approached with requests
