Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, including electrical, mechanical, and computer-related problems
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions accurately
- Perform thorough inspections and testing to diagnose and repair issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnostic findings and recommended repairs
- Act as a lead or consultant for other technicians, providing guidance and support on difficult repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of repairs
- Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and diagnostic techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a diagnostic technician
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have own tools and transportation to and from work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
