Location: Lithia Springs, GA
Atlanta West Flooring & Cabinets is looking for dependable, detail-oriented Cabinet Service Technicians to join our team as independent subcontractors. We provide steady, year-round work servicing new construction homes for some of the area's leading home builders.
If you have experience with cabinet installation, punch-out work, trim carpentry, or finish carpentry, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities
- Repair cabinet damage after installation
- Complete cabinet touch-ups and adjustments
- Replace or repair cabinet components when needed
- Install missing hardware and accessories
- Perform homeowner warranty repairs when scheduled
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
- Accurately complete work orders and documentation
Pay
- $45.00 for the first hour
- $35.00 for the second hour
- $35.00 per hour after that
Each service call is assigned a predetermined labor time. If you complete the work early, you are still paid the full allotted time. If additional time is required and approved, you will be compensated accordingly.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Standard carpenter hand tools
- Drill/driver
- Oscillating multi-tool
- Miter saw
- Additional tools necessary to complete cabinet service work
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
Insurance Requirements
Before starting work, subcontractors must provide:
- General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000–$2,000,000
- Commercial Auto Insurance: $1,000,000
- Workers' Compensation Insurance: $100,000–$500,000
