We are a medical office providing outpatient internal medicine and urgent care services. We are a growing business and need help with scribe and medical notes and back office work. This is a great way to gain medical experience and work directly with physician and staff. Great opportunity for leadership roles as well.

About the role:

Excellent opportunity for premed/pre-PA students/medical professionals in between healthcare schooling looking to gain strong medical experience in EMR systems and patient communciations. More of an administrative role as we transistion the roles of our practices.

Job responsibilities:

• Helping electronically transcribe medical records and organizing paperwork accordingly
• Learning about the medical process and using a team approach in patient supervision and documentation
• Working closely with patients/fellow scribes to rectify errors in patient records
• Outbound calls to patients to ensure any errors in EMR system are corrected
• Outbound calls to fellow partners labs to ensure any errors in patients lab work are corrected
• Communicating with patients
• Completing all administrative tasks efficiently

Preferred Skills:

• A passion for medicine
• Able to balance school AND work
• Strong attention to detail
• Works well under pressure and fast pace environment
• Excellent time management during work is key in ensuring patient records can be recorded in a timely manner
• Computer skills: this is a must, and will accelerate training

Preferred Background:

• Customer service as well a mild background in medicine
• Those looking to advance their careers in the medical field by gaining exposure to patient care and medical record keeping

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 per hour
