Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Objectives of this role:

Verifies and keeps records on incoming/outgoing shipments. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming/outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, Purchase orders, or other records. Responsible for the outbound flow of all products systemically to ensure that they are sent to the correct locations.

Responsibilities:

· Verifies all outbound orders to validate the correct product is being packed

· Performs final quality check of the outgoing shipments to ensure they are what was ordered. This “last touch” ensures quick turn around on the investigation process

· Send rejected / damaged product back to Manufacturing for additional processing

· Receives, logs, and tracks inbound shipments

· Maintain packaging supplies and communicates inventory levels to management

· Maintain record of all received product and communicate details to management

Requirements:

· Must be proactive with a strong sense of initiative

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Experience in freight receipts and shipments encouraged

· Stand, stoop, bend, squat, pick, place, and lift, up to 50lbs. throughout the shift

· Ability to work long hours on your feet

· Reliable and timely

· Pallet/Jack and/or Forklift Experience a plus

· Some Experience with the Shopify platform is a plus

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

· Other duties as business needs require

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

· Monday – Thursday 9am-5pm

· Saturday shifts as needed

This position has potential to turn into a full-time role.

Experience:

· Shipping and Receiving: 1 years

· Warehousing: 1 years

· Customer Service: 1 years

· Bilingual preferred but not required.
