Community Engagement & Merchandise Intern with the Atlanta Vibe Professional Volleyball Team 

Atlanta Vibe Professional Volleyball Team Location: Atlanta, GA Internship 

Duration: Fall Semester Reports To: Director of Community Engagement 

Overview: The Atlanta Vibe Professional Volleyball Team is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and community-driven individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Intern. This position provides a unique opportunity to work closely with the Community Engagement team to create meaningful connections between the team, fans, and the local community. The intern will assist in researching, organizing events and supporting community outreach programs, while gaining hands-on experience in community relations. 

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the planning and execution of community events • Support the development of promotional campaigns to engage fans and build community relations. • Attend community events on weeknights/weekends as needed• Research local businesses and organizations to build partnerships and enhance community engagement. • Support the Director & Assistant Director of Community Engagement with any other related tasks as needed. 

Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field. • Strong interest in professional sports, specifically volleyball, and community engagement. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. • Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. • Positive, proactive, and professional attitude with a passion for working with the community. • Previous experience in community outreach or event coordination is a plus but not required.
