Front Desk Veterinary Receptionist
AVEC (Atlanta Veterinary Eye Clinic) has an immediate position available for a veterinary receptionist; experience is preferred but not required. Looking to start a career in veterinary medicine, working in a caring, non-corporate environment where you provide a true service to the Atlanta community? Come join our team here at AVEC. This is an established veterinary ophthalmology practice in Avondale Estates, GA. You will be working closely with Dr. Gail Powell-Johnson and her staff. The duties for this position include:
1) Scheduling appointments
2) Checking patients in and out
3) Record maintenance and generating referral letters
4) Processing payments
5) Encouraging retail sales
6) Preparing prescriptions and explaining instructions
7) Performing other administrative tasks as needed.
