Clinical Coordination
• Assist in coordinating successful admissions into Georgia’s Forensic CIHs and Forensic Apartments.
• Track and ensure clinical intake assessments for new admissions are conducted and documented per policy.
• Attend monthly CIH clinical meetings with CFD, FCC, Team Lead, etc. to ensure clinical needs are being met.

• Conduct bi-annual site visits at Forensic Apartments to assess compliance with benefits and medication oversight.
• Perform regular inspections of Forensic properties, ensuring homes are safe, clean, and well-maintained per regulatory standards.
• Complete an annual Risk Assessment for each CIH to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Training & Policy Implementation
• Train staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and DBHDD policies to enhance CIH efficiency.
• Ensure CIH Team Leads are well-trained on SOPs and any policy changes or modifications.
• Promote a culture of safety by training staff on emergency preparedness, behavioral support plans, and individualized recovery plans (IRPs).

Quality Assurance & Documentation
• Audit client records at CIHs to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with best practices.
• Ensure individualized treatment plans are properly implemented and managed.
• Monitor the use of clinical best practices in resident care and ensure CIH Team Leads are trained accordingly.
• Ensure completion of required safety drills (fire drills, disaster drills, medical competency checks, environmental safety checklists, etc.).
• Submit administrative reviews and investigative reports as required. Community Service Liaison
• Act as a statewide liaison between DBHDD and all Community Service Boards (CSBs) under the direction of Forensic Housing Administration, attending scheduled monthly meetings.
• Assess Community Services and Partnerships
o Regularly evaluate the effectiveness and accessibility of current community services and partnerships across all CIHs statewide.
o Identify any gaps or barriers to access and recommend improvements to ensure equitable service delivery.
o Actively seek out potential new partnerships that could enhance the quality of services provided to CIHs.
o Communicate recommendations to the Forensic Housing Administrator for initial outreach and partnership development.
• Develop and Maintain a Resource Database: Maintain an up-to-date list of local and statewide resources for staff and resident use.

 Leadership & Operational Support
• Monitor resident behavior reports, identify potential risks, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Provide direct supervision of all CIH Team Leads.
• Monitor and manage employee productivity, ensuring adherence to all HR and administrative requirements.
• Ensure adequate staffing across all CIHs.
• Disseminate critical information from leadership meetings to maintain clear communication.
• Conduct ad hoc staff meetings as needed to discuss updates and operational priorities.
• Establish performance improvement goals and audits to enhance program services.
• Serve as a temporary Team Lead in the absence of the assigned Team Lead.

This is a High Trust, High Accountability Role. This position is unique because it sits at the intersection of clinical oversight, housing operations, forensic systems, and statewide leadership. It is not a traditional clinician role and not a typical housing administrator role. It blends systems-level clinical coordination with hands-on operational accountability across multiple sites.
This role is uniquely positioned as the translator between:
Clinical teams (CFD, FCC, CSBs, treatment providers)
Housing operations (Team Leads, staffing, safety, site conditions)
