Sobre el Puesto:

Buscamos profesores(as) de español presenciales, apasionados y responsables, para unirse a nuestro equipo en expansión y ayudar a los estudiantes a alcanzar la fluidez a través de clases personalizadas 1 a 1. Como contratista independiente, tendrás la flexibilidad de establecer tu disponibilidad, seleccionar las zonas de Atlanta donde prefieres trabajar, y aportar tu propio estilo a la experiencia de aprendizaje, al mismo tiempo que colaboras con una comunidad docente activa.

Zonas Preferidas de Enseñanza:

Indicarás los vecindarios o zonas del área metropolitana de Atlanta donde estés disponible para impartir clases presenciales.

Responsabilidades Principales:

  • Impartir clases presenciales individuales de español en formatos de 60 y 90 minutos.
  • Diseñar y entregar lecciones personalizadas según el nivel de competencia y los objetivos del estudiante (de A1 a C1).
  • Utilizar Google Drive para organizar y compartir materiales con los estudiantes, permitiéndoles repasar después de clase.
  • Mantener familiaridad con los niveles del MCER (A1 a C1) y explicar el progreso del estudiante con ejemplos prácticos.
  • Publicar dos veces al mes en nuestra comunidad digital Circle: una publicación sobre gramática y otra sobre cultura.
  • Colaborar con otros profesores compartiendo planes de clase y recursos útiles.
  • Agregar notas breves sobre el estudiante después de cada clase en la plataforma de tutoría asignada.
  • Participar en una reunión mensual de una hora para revisar el progreso de tus estudiantes.
  • Gestionar tu horario, planificación de clases y comunicación de forma autónoma como contratista independiente.

Requisitos Mínimos:

  • Dominio del idioma español y experiencia enseñándolo como segunda lengua.
  • Capacidad para explicar claramente las diferencias entre los niveles del MCER (A1 a C1).
  • Manejo de Google Drive y disposición para mantener materiales organizados y accesibles para los estudiantes.
  • Comunicación clara y proactiva con los estudiantes y otros miembros del equipo.
  • Habilidad para trabajar de forma independiente y cumplir con las expectativas mensuales establecidas.
  • Puntualidad, profesionalismo y actitud positiva centrada en el aprendizaje del estudiante.

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and reliable In-Person Spanish Teachers to join our growing team and help students achieve fluency through personalized 1-on-1 instruction. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your availability, select your preferred teaching areas throughout Metro Atlanta, and bring your own style to the learning experience while collaborating with a broader teaching community.

Preferred Teaching Areas:

You will indicate your preferred neighborhoods or zones in the Atlanta metro area where you are available to teach in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach 1-on-1 in-person Spanish classes in 60-minute and 90-minute formats.
  • Design and deliver customized lessons aligned with the student’s goals and proficiency level (A1 to C1).
  • Use Google Drive to organize and share learning materials for students to review after class.
  • Maintain familiarity with CEFR fluency levels (A1 to C1) and explain progress using practical language.
  • Post twice per month in our Circle digital community — one post related to grammar and one focused on culture.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers by sharing lesson plans and effective resources.
  • Add brief student notes after each class using our assigned tutoring platform.
  • Participate in a monthly 1-hour meeting to review your students’ progress.
  • Manage your schedule, lesson planning, and communication as an independent contractor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong command of the Spanish language and experience teaching Spanish as a second language.
  • Ability to explain differences across CEFR levels (A1 to C1) clearly and practically.
  • Competence with Google Drive and a willingness to maintain accessible, well-organized class materials.
  • Clear and proactive communication with both students and team members.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting recurring monthly expectations.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, student-centered mindset.

Compensation & Bonuses:

  • Base Pay: $40 per hour of class taught
  • Bonuses:
  • $50 when a student completes 100 hours with you
  • $100 when a student completes 200 hours with you
  • $15 for each student who renews their package

$25/month per student when submitting a progress report (overview of current progress)
