This is a full-time, on-site role located in Peachtree City, GA, for a Milling Foreman. The Milling Foreman will oversee and manage milling operations, supervise crew members, and ensure assigned projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, coordinating with team members, and completing reports on project progress. The Milling Foreman will also assist with maintenance and minor carpentry tasks as needed.
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including the ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Experience with Heavy Equipment operation and maintenance
- Effective Communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and clients
- Familiarity with basic Carpentry and Maintenance tasks
- Attention to safety and adherence to relevant safety standards and regulations
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to address project challenges
- Previous experience in construction or paving industries is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training are advantageous
