Director, Family Success locations Atlanta Home Office time type Full time posted on Posted 13 Days Ago job requisition id R-002191 Title​: Director, Family Success ​​Department: Resident Empowerment Pay Grade: Q Target Salary Range: $97,700- $122,200 Position Summary: The Director of Family Success is responsible for leading the development and implementation of AH’s enterprise-wide Family Success and Resident Success operations, ensuring resident compliance as well as administrative oversight and execution of the Resident Graduation Initiative. Cultivates, builds and manages strategic partnerships with nonprofit service providers to support the delivery of programs and initiatives that advance AH-assisted resident outcomes toward employment, economic self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. Develops and implements effective strategies that foster high resident engagement. Leads and supervises family success team and manages performance. Works collaboratively with the Vice President, Resident Empowerment members, and with Resident Empowerment team members to develop and implement strategic goals that advance the effective delivery of Resident Empowerment programs and initiatives and successful achievement of key performance indicators. Oversees the implementation and administration of family success initiatives across all AH housing programs, ensuring compliance with funder and regulatory requirements. Provides leadership and oversight of family success operations and departmental workflow, ensuring alignment with Agency and Department goals. Acts as a resource to Family Success Specialists, Resident Success Coaches and contracted service coordinators, holding at least four annual meetings to support service delivery. Tracks resident progress and program outcomes using data systems to support continuous improvement and reporting. Ensures compliance with grant requirements, MTW standards, and strategic objectives. Builds and manages relationships with service providers, local and federal agencies, community leaders, and government officials to expand resources and support. Leverages Collective Impact principles to strategically engage providers in delivering comprehensive educational, economic, and wellness programs. creating a family success program that advances resident achievement Take the lead in making recommendations for ways to improve coordination and integration of programming, including community outreach and partnerships. Directs Family Success personnel including hiring, training, performance management, and ensures high levels of productivity and accountability. Oversees outreach and engagement plans, service contracts, audits, and data systems to ensure effective programming and measurable resident outcomes Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: A Masters Degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field is preferred. Minimum of four years working experience with the social service delivery system, particularly employment, training, education and counseling programs are essential. Must possess good communication and negotiation skills (both written and oral), be well organized and have demonstrated competence working with low-income, culturally diverse individuals and families.  5 – 7 years of social services related experience to include four (4) years’ experience working with low-income individuals and/or families advancing measurable levels of self-sufficiency. Minimum two years’ experience in grassroots community outreach, organizing, and community engagement Knowledge and experience of working in diverse and low-income communities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to provide motivational leadership and supervision to a team, resulting in high performance, productivity, and accountability. Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize efficiently in environments with multiple and shifting priorities. Strong business acumen and business analytics skills to drive strategic decision-making. Expert knowledge of human development literature and best practices. Demonstrated ability to guide the establishment of data management systems for effective user utilization and business reporting. Ability to work independently and fully execute assignments without intensive supervision. Demonstrated proficiency in current office technology software applications, with regular use. Superior verbal and written communication skills required for effective collaboration and reporting. Working Conditions Works in an office environment and community settings. May engage in frequent community-based meetings for resident programming and events. Travel within Atlanta city limits, home visits and program site visits are required. May require some bending, stooping, reaching and prolonged sitting. May require some lifting, usually not exceeding 10 lbs. Must have and maintain a valid state of Georgia driver’s license and be fully insurable for the purpose of obtaining clearance on company “Authorized Drivers List”. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.
