A great opportunity to join a premier, rapidly growing private cardiology practice serving the Metro Atlanta area. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in a full-time role supporting both hospital-based and outpatient clinic care.
Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality cardiovascular care in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings under the direction of our Cardiologists.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and providing comprehensive patient care independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
This position will include hospital coverage as well as scheduled clinic hours based on practice needs. Some travel between practice locations may be required.
Qualifications
- Strong cardiology, acute care, or emergency room experience preferred.
- One year of experience in an expanded role as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred but not required.
- Advanced training in the provision of primary and/or acute medical care.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Flexibility to provide care in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings.
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and applicable certification.
- ACLS certification required.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
Schedule
Schedule will include a combination of hospital coverage and outpatient clinic hours. Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
