Job Summary: This position will work directly with the Atlanta Hawks retail department to provide support in day-to-day operations. Candidates of the position will work directly with the creative and marketing team on campaign launches, the senior buyer to understand product buy cycle, and how to manage inventory in-store. In this role, you will gather a full scope of learning various responsibilities to understand what it takes to run a successful retail brand. This position will report directly to the Director of Retail Design & eCommerce.

Responsibilities

• Learn the functioning roles of retail by shadowing each team member on their daily responsibilities. Responsible roles are marketing and creative, store management, warehouse operations, financial literacy, and merchandise purchasing
• Support planning and execution of marketing content by working with merchandising and creative team to bring campaigns to life
• Assist in collecting marketing assets through photoshoots, vendor assets, and user generated content
• Present opportunities for brand growth, ideas, and new marketing strategies to help grow the brand
• Support ecommerce and in-store efforts to better manage product
• Create recap decks to generate best practices
• Partner with team to understand product lifecycle from purchase to sell
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have a desire to learn the business of retail
• Creative mindset with the ability to deliver business objectives with creativity, innovation, and design solutions
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• An understanding of creative tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator to develop digital content through ecommerce and social media
• Strong collaboration skills
• A background in retail at any capacity
  
  

Education And Experience

• Must be enrolled in an accredited HBCU College or University as a rising Junior and Senior
• Field of Study: Digital Marketing, Event Management, Finance, Business, Communications, Hospitality, and Analytics, and Sales
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
