Department Description: This department is responsible for receiving, staging and loading materials safely, reliably and cooperatively. Deliveries are off-loaded and stored in locations which must be recorded accurately. Material is staged for installers prior to the day it must be loaded for installation. Warehouse must be maintained and interactions with internal and external customers must be professional and courteous.
Objectives: The main responsibilities for Warehouse Lead are; handling of all deliveries, loading out installers. Vendor deliveries need to be verified and accounted for. Make sure all stock locations are clearly marked on both paperwork and in computer system and make sure all products are labeled with either stock number or CGs (Order # Ex. CF, CA, MF etc.) number before locating into bin locations. Material loaded out for installers needs to be verified, accounted for and signed upon receipt by the installer.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain warehouse, protect AFDC inventory.
Assist in daily staging and loading of products for installers in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
Make sure warehouse associates process the returns back from installers before loading out new material.
Direct the day to day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, loading, maintenance, materials management and inventory control in absent of supervisor.
Monitor the flow of each pick ticket as it moves through the process of staging, loading and archiving.
Responsible for warehouse safety, providing a safe and clean workplace for employees following OSHA guidelines, as well as local and state regulations.
Provide support for training, coaching and engaging warehouse personnel to ensure a productive labor climate in the warehouse.
Make sure all stock material is in correct location both physically and on the receiver.
Supervise receiving and double check all deliveries, making sure correct amount, style and color is accurately received and location is accurate. Verify initials of receiving personnel.
Keep a safe and clean working environment.
May perform other duties as directed by management.
