If you answered yes to these questions, then consider joining our Atlanta Cancer Care team! As a member of our hematology/oncology healthcare team, you will focus on providing high quality patient care in a compassionate and meaningful way and have fun while doing it.

We are looking for a highly motivated, eager learner that is compassionate and patient-focused to fill our full-time, outpatient APP position in Alpharetta, GA, four days a week with one remote day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of hematology/oncology patients
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in hematology/oncology strongly preferred, but will consider internal medicine subspecialties as well. Having an interest/passion for hematology/oncology is a MUST!
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with an unencumbered current PA or NP license
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build rapport with patients, peers and staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
