Aircraft Recovery Technician
Atlanta Air Recovery and Storage – Full-Time | $18–$25/hr | Southeastern U.S. Travel

Position Summary:
We’re hiring an Aircraft Recovery Technician with a strong mechanical background, experience operating heavy equipment, and a passion for problem-solving. This is a physically active role that involves frequent travel and being on-call for emergency recovery operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in recovering downed or disabled aircraft at various sites across the Southeast
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (cranes, skid steers, and more)
- Perform hands-on mechanical tasks in challenging environments
- Work collaboratively with a team to ensure safety and efficiency
- Travel regularly and stay on-site for extended periods as needed
- Maintain recovery equipment and tools
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions
What You Bring:
- Mechanical experience (aircraft or heavy equipment preferred)
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment (cranes, skid steers, etc.)
- Comfortable working outdoors and under pressure
- Willingness to travel frequently and stay away from home
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well both independently and with a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude, good communication, and a sense of humor – we value team spirit!
