- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Provide product demos when applicable to enhance customer understanding and encourage upselling opportunities
- Assist customers with questions regarding products, store policies, and promotions using excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area by stocking supplies and merchandising products effectively
- Conduct basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, and pricing adjustments confidently
- Support inventory management through stocking shelves, organizing displays, and participating in merchandise resets
- Promote sales by suggesting complementary products and upselling when appropriate
- Ensure adherence to all cash handling procedures and security protocols during transactions
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to customer needs and resolving issues promptly
Skills
