Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail oriented Carpenter Woodworker to join our production team. This role focuses on building custom cabinetry, interior structures, trim work, and wood based components for our luxury Sprinter van builds. The ideal candidate has strong craftsmanship, understands precision work, and can operate in a fast paced yet quality driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Custom fabricate cabinetry, frames, and interior wood structures for luxury Sprinter vans
Cut, shape, and assemble wood components using table saws, routers, CNC machines, and hand tools
Install finished components inside vans including wall panels, ceilings, storage cabinets, trim pieces, and custom furniture elements
Read and interpret sketches, measurements, and build plans with precision
Work closely with the production team to ensure components fit correctly within the vehicle’s interior dimensions
Perform fine finishing work including sanding, edging, sealing, and staining when required
Maintain clean, organized workspaces and ensure all tools are used safely and properly
Troubleshoot and adjust builds in real time when new design solutions are needed
Assist in creating prototypes for new build designs and layout ideas
Ensure all work meets ATL Vans’ quality standards for craftsmanship, durability, and luxury appearance
Qualifications
Three or more years of professional carpentry or woodworking experience
Strong understanding of joinery, cabinet building, and interior finishing
Ability to use both traditional and power tools with confidence and precision
Experience with vehicle or RV cabinetry is a plus but not required
Ability to measure, cut, and assemble with exceptional accuracy
Comfortable working with a team in a production environment
Strong problem solving skills and the willingness to adapt when needed
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet build timelines
Must be able to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Pay: $17.54 - $26.34 per hour
