Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities and manufacturing team.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment in accordance with all plant policies, procedures, and safety requirements. This role works with a wide range of machinery and mechanical systems, including motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production-line equipment. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and control panels to ensure reliable and efficient operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and other industrial equipment, as well as installing and upgrading electrical components and wiring in compliance with local electrical codes and plant standards.
Description Of Main Tasks
· Ensure the proper functionality of all mechanical systems while following all internal policies, external regulations, and safety requirements.
· Perform, process, and document all service and maintenance work on machines, facilities, tools, equipment, and auxiliary systems.
· Complete and document repairs and maintenance activities in alignment with facility management standards.
· Troubleshoot and correct issues in hydraulic and pneumatic controls and systems.
· Fabricate or modify plant parts and devices when required to support operations.
· Procure spare parts according to specifications and instructions.
· Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled to support operational needs.
· Collaborate on assigned projects and contribute technical expertise as needed.
· Actively support and participate in the plant’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system.
Skills & Competencies
· Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and conveyor systems
· Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals
· Skilled in precision alignment, machining, welding, and fabrication
· Expertise in using industrial tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment
· Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits
· Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and interpreting ladder logic
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
· Knowledge of NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe electrical work practices
We currently have two openings for this position:
- 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis.
Pay: From $29.00 per hour
