Construction Foreman
ATL Construction is a fast-paced, growing construction company seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with others, and can effectively manage crews and daily site operations.
The Construction Foreman will plan, direct, and oversee employees performing all aspects of site construction, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and fixtures, as well as water, sewer, and drainage systems.
The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, correctly, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Pay & Schedule
- Starting pay: $35.00 per hour, more $ available based on experience and performance
- Job type: Full-time
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed
- Work location: In person
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily crew schedules and monitor attendance
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to crew members
- Supervise, train, and motivate employees
- Ensure adequate manpower, materials, and equipment are available
- Maintain and enforce all safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Ensure work meets company quality standards and project specifications
- Supervise the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Identify and resolve job-site issues as they arise
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain a productive, organized, and safe job site
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of construction foreman experience required
- Proven experience leading and managing construction crews
- Valid Hydraulic/Hoisting License required
- Valid DOT Medical Card required
- Valid Class D Driver's License
- OSHA 30 certification
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience with GPS grading equipment, particularly Topcon, is a plus.
