Role Description

This is an on-site full-time role located in Lufkin, TX, for a 2nd Shift Supervisor - Packing & Bagging. The supervisor will oversee daily operations in the packing and bagging department, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining equipment. The supervisor will also handle any issues that arise during the shift and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity.

• Experience in supervising and leading teams
• Knowledge of packing and bagging processes and equipment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work seamlessly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Prior experience in the food or confectionery industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are beneficial
