Associate (Intellectual Property) - The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in IP litigation matters. We currently have a lot of patent litigation, copyright litigation, and trademark litigation that needs additional support, and the successful candidate will have a broad range of experience, including:
- Trademark, patent, copyright, and/or trade secret litigation experience in federal court. Trademark Office, Patent Office and ITC experience is a plus.
- General IP-related advice and counsel
- Conducting document and data reviews; e-discovery
- Preparing and responding to written discovery requests
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Law and motion work
- Attending court hearings and arguing substantive motions
- Arbitration and/or trial experience
- Preparing trademark, copyright, and/or patent applications and responding to office actions.
- Transactional and licensing experience is a plus
- General business/commercial and employment litigation experience is a plus
- Candidates must be admitted to practice law in the State of California.
