What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and approve complex tax returns; manage tax planning and consulting projects.
- Serve as a client advisor, leading meetings, handling complex returns, and managing delegated client relationships.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff; oversee work assignments, training, and performance evaluations.
- Manage tax examinations and represent clients before taxing authorities as needed.
- Monitor tax developments, research technical issues, and provide guidance to staff and partners.
- Support firm growth through practice development, billing, collections, and community involvement.
- 5 years of public accounting experience
- 2 years in a supervisory role within a public accounting firm
- CPA required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Experience directly managing and interacting with clients through a variety of channels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software, QuickBooks, CCH Axcess & Engagement preferred
- US work authorization required
