We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Abatement Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hazardous material removal, including asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and restoration projects. This role is crucial for ensuring safe environments by effectively managing and eliminating hazardous materials in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos abatement procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform mold remediation tasks to ensure a safe and healthy environment for occupants.
- Participate in restoration projects, ensuring all work meets quality standards and safety protocols.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to assess job sites and develop effective abatement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project status and any concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in asbestos abatement, mold remediation, or related fields is preferred.
