Job Summary:
The Clinton High School Head Football Coach will lead a football program for grades 7-12, emphasizing scholarship, integrity, attendance, character, and a winning tradition. CHS has an all-time football record of 857 wins, 314 losses, 38 ties, and 17 State Championships. Our program ranks among the winningest in the nation and holds the top spot for all-time wins in Oklahoma.

The CHS Head Football Coach will champion student-athletes to rise to the challenges presented as they build strong character and self-discipline in a positive environment. Teaching responsibilities will be assigned based on teacher certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and contribute as an active member of the Clinton professional learning community. Keep the focus on student and staff learning, be collaborative, and use results to evaluate professional practices.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive football program for grades 7-12 that includes a mission, vision, and values that will be on display on and off the football field.
- Support all Clinton athletic and extracurricular programs in the common Clinton mission.
- Champion a culture of academic excellence, integrity, and character development among student-athletes.
- Oversee and implement strength and conditioning programs, as well as nutritional guidance, to enhance player performance and well-being.
- Teach and emphasize the fundamentals of football, ensuring a strong foundation for future success.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead assistant coaching staff.
- Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of athletes and opposing teams to develop effective game strategies.
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Execute a plan to monitor the academic and attendance eligibility of student athletes.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and the community.
Qualifications:
- Previous successful coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
- Teacher certification
- Strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
