What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Girls Soccer Goalkeeper Coach position at Athletics - CHS?
Canby High School is hiring an Assistant Girls Soccer Goalkeeper Coach to begin 8/17/2026.
This is a non-district funded (contingent upon fundraised dollars) position.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures — current First Aid/CPR card required.
- Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public.
- Ability to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies.
- Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/knowledge of the sport of interscholastic Soccer, coaching techniques, and student supervision.
Required Trainings:
- OSAA trainings required prior to working with athletes: Interscholastic Coaching Course, Concussion Recognition & Management, Heat Illness Prevention, Anabolic Steroids and Performance-Enhancing Substances, and Interrupting and Preventing Discriminatory Acts.
- District trainings required prior to starting work: SafeSchools (Vector Training).
Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment ($10-$20 at printing; $66 payroll deduction).
