Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients and physical therapy staff, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the patient journey.
- Coordinate scheduling, new patient onboarding, and insurance verification processes to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist with management of patient expectations based on clinical findings, including frequency and duration of treatment, progression toward functional goals, and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge and Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel; knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred; experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
