The On-Site Club Attendant is the face of AMGC - the first impression every member and visitor takes with them. This role blends front desk operations, hospitality, sales, and facility management into a dynamic, people-first position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Desk & Guest Services
- Greet all members, visitors, and walk-ins with warmth and professionalism
- Manage inbound calls, inquiries, and booking requests promptly
- Check in members and guests; confirm reservations and lesson appointments
- Escort visitors to their assigned bay and ensure they are fully oriented
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk at all times
Bay Operations & Technology Support
- Prepare bays for sessions: calibrate equipment and verify TrackMan settings
- Provide guests with clear, confident guidance on how to use TrackMan (full training provided)
- Perform routine bay checks throughout shifts to maintain quality and cleanliness
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to management
Scheduling & Administration
- Schedule tee times, lesson appointments, and bay rentals using the club's booking system
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date appointment calendar
- Coordinate with coaches and management to avoid scheduling conflicts
- Handle member account updates, waivers, and documentation as needed
Sales & Membership
- Actively promote and sell AMGC memberships, bay rentals, golf lessons, and services
- Conduct tours for prospective members and communicate membership benefits clearly
- Follow up on leads and assist with membership renewals
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by management
Hospitality & Member Experience
- Deliver a consistent, high-touch hospitality experience worthy of a premier golf facility
- Anticipate member needs and respond proactively to ensure satisfaction
- Handle member concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Foster lasting relationships with members to encourage loyalty and retention
QUALIFICATIONS & IDEAL PROFILE
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, high-energy attitude with a genuine love of working with people
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy environment
- Basic computer proficiency (scheduling software, email, point-of-sale)
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Preferred
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations
- Background in upscale or luxury service environments - country clubs, resorts, or fine dining preferred
- Interest in or knowledge of golf (not required - we will train)
- Prior sales or membership experience a plus
Pay: $15.00 per hour
