Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our office facilities. This vital role ensures that all workspaces, common areas, restrooms, and entry points are kept spotless and hygienic, supporting the health and productivity of our team. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and experience in commercial cleaning to help us uphold high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all office areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality and appearance
- Handle custodial responsibilities for windows, glass surfaces, and furniture to ensure a pristine environment
- Assist with light facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols
- Support industrial cleaning tasks or specialized janitorial duties as needed for different areas of the facility
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or office setting
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping, waxing)
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous
- Prior porter or maintenance experience is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines consistently
