What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recess/Afterschool Sports Program Coach- Deer Valley/Glendale position at Athletes in Training?
Athletes in Training has been around the Valley for over 30 years. We provide on Campus afterschool coaching 1 time a week per school, for 90 minutes. In our programs we offer introduction sport classes for Elementray Schools (Ages: KG- 6th grade). Sports Covered: Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, and Water Games. Our focus is to introduce each sport, their skills and rules, as well as introduce sportsmanship and leadership to the youth. In Deer Valley/Glendale our Programs run between the time range of 1:30- 4:30pm, Monday- Friday.
Canadiates must have reliable transportation.
AIT also offers a Recess Program during the lunch time hours at selected Elementary schools in Phoenix/Glendale, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas. During the lunch time recess coaches are expected to set up recreational games for kids to participate in for about 2 hours. Coaches are expected to teach, monitor, and make sure the kids are having fun! Our recess times range from 10:30am-1:30pm Monday-Friday.
